Working artists who join the Arts Council can receive services such as affordable health insurance, announcements in our weekly and monthly publications and discounts on printing costs, internet service and facility rentals. Health Insurance
Health insurance is hard enough to come by within a full time job. Working artists usually have to provide it for themselves. By joining the Arts Council, you may be eligible for reasonally affordable health insurance benefits.
Promotional Services
The Arts Council is dediated to promoting media, performing and visual arts throughout Chautauqua County and the surrounding area. If you have an event, workshop, job opportunity or other art-related announcement, send it to us and we’ll get the information out via a weekly Art Opportunities email and Arts On Fire online newsletter. Members artists or organizations will have the benefit of their website being linked to the main Arts Council homepage.
Printing Discounts
Promote your work through print! Posters, postcards, flyers, handbooks and more may be printed out and copied on The Arts Council’s color, laser printer. You’ll save money in the long run, because we charge members only the cost of the printing. Do it yourself at the Arts Council!
Business Services
The Arts Council offices are equipped with many amenities that can help an artist in their business. Members may utilize the following services:
- High Speed Internet
- Postage Meter (at cost)
- Office Supplies (at cost)
- Faxes (at cost)
- Long Distance Calls (at cost)
Members may also consult with our staff on:

- Grant opportunities
- Taxes for artists and non-profits
Facility Rentals
Rent one of our spaces for your business or personal needs.
Reg Studio Theater
The Reg Studio Theater is a street level room that is optimal for intimate performances, art shows and workshops. Parties, meetings and luncheons an also be accomodated. This space includes:
- An elevated area for performers.
- A sound and light system.
- Two bathrooms.
- Hallway access to Forte restaurant – perfect for catering a meal!
- A large picture window for public view and a curtain for private functions.
This space costs $45 a day for non-profits and $80 a day for commercial ventures.
Wright Conference Room and Art Gallery
The Wright Conference Room and Art Gallery is an ideal space for art shows, meetings and parties. Overlooking the art and entertainment district, this room comes equipped with:
- A pull down screen for projetion.
- High speed ethernet connections.
- Two bathrooms.
- Access to the Arts Council offices and a kitchenette.
This space costs $45 a day for non-profits and $80 a day for commercial ventures.
The Reg Lenna Civic Center
The Reg Lenna Civic Center is a beautifully restored, 1,200 seat plus theater. The whole facility may be used for a performance, or elements may be isolated for smaller functions. Amenities include:
- Lighting and sound system for a variety of performances.
- Dressing rooms.
- Private viewing boxes.
- Lobby area including a historic Buffalo Bill Billboard and a spacious mezzanine.
- Elegant lobby area with box office, coat room and snack area.
Prices for rental depend on technical needs.
