Exploring  Theatre, The Stage and School
A hands-on approach to integrating theatre and music  practices in the classroom in  order to coincide with curriculum.  Integrating a cooperative learning  project to coincide with such topics as; New York State history/ music  of NY/  role playing facets of the Native American drumming  circle/European Culture – opera and the classics -  i.e; recreate Hansel and Gretel in the classroom/Masks, Dynasty roleplaying, etc…

I Can’t I’ll Try, I Can! On  Stage….
By utilizing theatre and music as a tool for success, this class is designed for building self confidence using the learning readiness scale  for success and incorporating cooperative learning and differentiated  instruction to students. For example, theatre and musical tools and  improvisational games help produce self assuredness in trying new things. Productive role playing through improvisation reflects student fears.

Bullying and Teenage Stress – The Myths, The Reality and Skills To Conquer
Through discussion, theatre and Asian  relaxation techniques, students will discover, through role playing, the  techniques necessary to address this subject collectively and as individuals without menace or fear, but with power of the self. Examples include, but are not limited to, Alexander Technical relaxation and centering exercises, table top  discussion on what drives stress and bullying and role playing/script-writing  vignettes.

The Artist:
Over 30 years experience in vocal music education, performance & theatre.
Bachelors – SUNY Fredonia in Music Education, Masters – SUNY Stonybrook in Arts Education.
NYS certifications in teaching; K – 12 Vocal Music, K – 6 elementary education &
certification in Theatre.
