The Arts Council For Chautauqua County and Active Artists Alliance present "Audio/Visual", a new art exhibit continuing through October at the Wright Gallery at the Reg Lenna Civic Center.
A public reception will be held on Friday September 10 at 7pm. The exhibit will remain open during Local Music Showcase between 6 and 10pm.
“Audio/Visual” celebrates music through original art. The show features a music-inspired installation by Debra Eck, glass paintings by Kim Howard and Nathan Long, photographs of musicians at live shows by Allison Rabent, album cover artwork by Christopher Howard and original instruments created by Nick Kilpatrick. The show will open on the eve of Local Music Showcase and continue during the performances on Saturday night.
Upcoming Active Artists Alliance/Arts Council exhibitions include photography show, "Cold Snap", and skateboard deck art show, "All Decks On Hand".
The Wright Gallery is located at 116 East Third Street in Jamestown.
